Kristen and Boaz enjoyed a perfect sunset wedding at a gorgeous mansion built in the early 1900s. The house itself was just stunning so there wasn’t much need for decorations. Orange fan programs were left at each chair for the guests. Boaz is Jewish so the couple had a unique ceremony blending some of the Jewish traditions with some of their own personal traditions. The most important element of their ceremony was the fabulous chuppah that Kirsten’s dad constructed. The chuppah was draped with a new tablecloth that the married couple has since used for Thanksgiving dinner, creating a new tradition together. Kristen’s father spent many hours on the project and he got to enjoy quality time with his future son-in-law who helped build it, too. This was such an important part of their ceremony that the rabbi discussed it in his speech, mentioning how symbolic it was that Kristen’s dad helped build the chuppah with his own two hands and how the chuppah represents the bride and groom’s first home together as a married couple.

At the reception, Boaz and Kristen put on quite a show for their guests!! The couple had been taking ballroom dance lessons because Kristen loves Dancing With the Stars and they both enjoyed their classes! They decided to showcase a choreographed dance for their grand entrance and they wanted something fun and upbeat so they boogied to “Jump (for Your Love)” by The Pointer Sisters. They learned the hustle, and the dance moves included Boaz lifting Kristen up and spinning her around. Boaz even did leaps in the air during the chorus.

Kristen and Boaz had a perfect wedding day filled with a traditional and meaningful ceremony followed by a festive and fun reception! Sounds like a great wedding to us!

Mazel tov, Kristen and Boaz!
