We love when couples meet, hit it off, and score a home run in love. Paul and Lisa met playing on a NYC softball team. At her first game, Paul smiled at Lisa, and she knew he would be her husband. Thirteen months later, Paul proposed to Lisa in the spot where they shared their first kiss. Four and half months later they were married at a historic synagogue in Lawrence, New York amidst the Fall foliage.
The couple honored Paul’s father’s Cuban upbringing with Mojitos and their first dance to Besame Mucho. Lisa, a graphic designer, created a logo and theme for the event, and designed anything and everything possible including the menus, programs, table cards, seating cards, and signature drink cards. She loved designing everything so much, she created a business making custom printed items for weddings.
At the reception, friends from their softball team presented them new jerseys with their names hyphenated, Greenwald-Jeruchimowitz. They didn’t strike out for their honeymoon, that’s for sure. They vacationed in the Maldives and Thailand. Lisa and Paul have home field advantage on the Upper East Side where they live with their favorite team member, a French Bulldog named Elvis.
