Kristy and Brian’s wedding was filled with tradition, ritual, and lots of love! Their ceremony and reception location, Temple Shalom of Chicago, held great meaning for them because they met there on a Friday night service! Their love may be steamy, but so was the weather outside the night of their wedding. Fortunately the festivities were all inside because it was 95 degrees out that day! Everything flowed just perfectly with their photos taking place prior to their ketubah signing and noon ceremony. An delicious brunch reception followed, but that doesn’t mean that Kristy and Brian didn’t par-tay with their guests. Don’t be fooled: their dance floor was just as packed (if not more so) as an evening reception!
Kristy and Brian chose to incorporate the tradition of the bride circling the groom seven times, but adapted it for themselves by circling each other three times each and then once together. They may or may not have lost count circling each other seven times. Eh, we chalk it up to bonus circles. Either way, it was a special moment, and made for a great photo! Love their expressions in that shot, but also in all of the photos in this Real Wedding. Every image shows a couple that’s so in love and excited to be starting the rest of their lives. Together.
Mazel tov, Kristy and Brian!
