Gary and Jennifer were delivered to each other via an eHarmony.com notification in their email inboxes. When Jen saw Gary’s profile she was immediately attracted to the brightness of his eyes. It also didn’t hurt that Gary had photos of himself with the cutest dog she’d ever seen, and instantly she thought to herself “Now we’re talkin’.” Puppy love? You could say that, but it would become so much more. Gary was the first match who really made sense to her.
Viewing her profile, Gary was immediately attracted to her engaging smile. He could tell there was something very special about this girl. Right off the bat, their email communication was open and playful. Jen asked if she should check out any other dating sites and Gary responded, “What’s the point? You’ve already contacted the best guy online!”
Things got serious between them, but they had doubts that perfection could feel that good, so they went separate ways and experienced new relationships and dating sprees. But couples who are meant to be always come back together. One night, while walking his dog, Gary was thinking of all of the great qualities that Jen had and how he missed her. When he got home, he found an email from her and they both realized they still had unfinished business. They went out, reconnected, and stayed together for good. So good, that during a Southern California sunset and overlooking the ocean, Gary got down on one knee and proposed.
