Wedding Day Checklist

This is a checklist to use while you plan for your Jewish wedding. We suggest you print this out and fulfill the list as you gather your items and transport them to your wedding venue.

Check with your partner and your rabbi to confirm what you actually need to use from this list and then go taste more cake. Because, really, that’s what you should be doing with your time!

For All Weddings:

  • Gold wedding rings
  • Tallit
  • Ketubah
  • Acid-free archival pens
  • Kiddush cups (you need 1, but you can bring 2)
  • White wine
  • Glass to break (light bulb and/or decorative glass)
  • Glass breaking bag
  • Yarmulkes
  • Marriage license (bring 2 extra copies)
  • Challah (make sure to place your order with enough time)

For a More Traditional Wedding:

  • Food and beverages for tish
  • Chair for bedeken
  • Ceramic plate for mothers to break
  • Hammer for plate
  • Programs
  • Basket for programs
  • Easel for ketubah (check with venue)
  • Challah
